MRC Consulting
Years of experience
many years and many difference industries equates to expertise
When you choose a consultant, it is often difficult to ascertain the true experiences
of the firm or individual. The old questions, "Is it 20 years experience
or just one year's experience 20 times?" often is an appropriate
inquiry when selecting the consulting team. Applying the same preconceived
answer to every client's problem and forcing the solution into a preexisting
computer model are examples of what many companies receive for their consulting
dollar. It seems that analyzing and mapping a path to success eludes these
inexperienced individuals. Rest assured than Maynard's staff has an extensive
background in helping improve productivity over a wide range of industries and its
endeavors have covered the
entire gamut
of improvement projects. Not so surprising given that Maynard started consulting
in 1934.
Thoroughly qualified staff
Coach your employees and someday they will be the coach of your team
All Maynard's staff has impressive
dossiers
that got developed through years of apprenticeship. They start with simple
project type work (that most firms call consulting) then they progress to Lead Consultant
as they gain more exposure to various work environments. Through many more
years of training, they advance to Senior and eventually Principal Consultant.
Each phase elevates their knowledge of productivity improvement and allows them
to share this with our clientele.
We put our clients first
No part time consultant for your project
Your company gets the best and not some part-time consultant that is retained only
for your assignment. Too often, consulting firms use this "hired hand"
approach because they do not have full time employees or the firm simply lacks experience
for the project. Not Maynard, we only uses full time consultants and do not
engage in this deceitful manpower trick.
true consulting help
not a manpower firm
Field consultants (we call these employees technicians) are use if the project calls
for this type of work; however, these staffing assignments are not true consulting
activities because they simply mimic positions already in the company's employment
tree. Yes, supplemental staffing is necessary when your engineering workload
is already at capacity. These, "not enough time"
tasks also usually belong to a project that you have already defined the solution
and its in the implementation phase. Man powering firms supplying people
for solution implementation, yet they never claim they are sending
consultants. Unfortunately, many so called consulting firms do exactly
that. So, if there is an assignment that requires analytical work, you
better hope that the individual has been involved in the cost saving business for
many years. True consultants, like those found at Maynard, will guide the
company through the entire project and can handle all the difficult assignments.
